Welcome to our Sunreef catamarans page. If you are looking for second hand boats, check out our Sunreef Yachts for Sale page.
Sunreef Yachts was founded by Frenchman Francis Lapp – the company’s CEO.

Polish Connection
He discovered Poland in a rally car and decided to set up shop there, first manufacturing electrical equipment and providing services such as the installation of electrical, sanitary and air conditioning systems for large industrial players.

He also developed a keen interest for sailing in Poland, mostly on small racing catamarans. He bought his first cruising catamaran which he kept in Madagascar and started a travel agency offering charters on the Indian Ocean.

Charter Expertise
Customers were interested in renting large, luxury catamarans which were difficult to find, and that’s how he got involved in the catamaran building business: Sunreef Yachts was born in 2002.

2010 Sunreef 102 Ipharra

Ipharra, a Sunreef 102, is one of the largest cruising catamarans in the world, and the first sailing catamaran in the world with a Double Deck. This is a real Supercat.

She is the third biggest sloop rigged catamaran in the world.

With a huge outdoor living area, her owners can choose between the shade of the 50m2 cockpit or catch some sun on the 50m² flybridge or on the nets. The cockpit has a long sofa and table for alfresco dining.

102 feet long and 120 tonnes of displacement!

2010 Sunreef 114 Che

Not to be outdone by the Sunreef 102 Ipharra, next the Polish yard launched a 114 foot boat called Che, carrying the same name as the original Sunreef 74 launched in 2002.

The Sunreef 114 is the second largest sloop-rigged catamaran in the world and the third largest sailing multihull in the world.

This superyacht will reach 20 knots thanks to its sculpted hulls and powerful sail plan.  Bow thrusters will spare your blushes as you come into the marina and she is fitted with one of the best navigation and communication systems: the Navnet 3D by Furuno.

2011 Sunreef 58

This is “Freestyle”, the second 58 launched in August 2011. You won’t miss that paint job in the marina!

The 58 was launched in response to the many enquiries for a “smaller” Sunreef with the same construction quality, luxury finish and sailing performance, for those who don’t want to bring along crew (although there is room for a crew cabin as well).

2012 Sunreef 82 Double Deck

sunreef 82

Following the 2010 launch of two super catamarans Che and Ipharra, both over 100 feet each, the Sunreef yard launched an 82ft double decker sailing catamaran called Houbara with a huge 35m2 flybridge. If you wanted more space, this could do it!

HOUBARA can accommodate up to 7 guests in one beam-wide owner suite, another VIP cabin and another guest twin cabin that converts into a double cabin.

The Sunreef 82 DD has a canoe type boom and carbon mast. The additional deck gives the owners even more space below decks for more cabins or storage. There are 2 lounge areas on this Superyacht.

2013 Sunreef 80 Carbon Line

This is probably our favourite Sunreef – their 80 foot performance cat.

Shown is “Levante”, the 1st unit of the Sunreef 80 Carbon Line, a yacht with a relatively light displacement for her size to maximise performance and speed. Levante is made of an advanced composite sandwich combining vinylester, PVC foam and carbon/glass fiber, and has a carbon mast and boom, standing rigging with Kevlar and a total sail area of 340 m2. She weighs 45 tonnes with sleek and sporty lines designed to reduce windage and water resistance.

The Sunreef 80 Carbon cruises at 15 knots in a fresh breeze and can hit maximum speeds of 20+ knots.

2013 Sunreef 60 Loft

The first unit is “Grace”, shown above.

The Sunreef 60 Loft is a range of ready-to-sail yachts launched in that year.

2014 Sunreef 74

sunreef 74 wildberry

The new Sunreef 74 launches with #1 hull: “Wildberry”. With the 74, Sunreef reduced their construction time to 7 months. Wildberry was followed by “19th Hole” and “Blue Deer”, which were put into the Sunreef charter fleet.

2016 First Sunreef 74 Carbon Launches: Diana

“Diana” is the most technically advanced launch of the Sunreef 74s to date, with carbon bodywork enhancements and a cutting edge rig, The aim was to deliver all of the luxury and comfort one without compromising on performance.

She is named after Diana, the Goddess of the Hunt. She has a carbon mast and an in-boom furling system. The main nav station is powered with touchscreens allowing automatic sail adjustments via load sensors that prevent winch, hardware and rig overload.

2017 Sunreef 88 Double Deck

An  ambitious Supercat project, the first Sunreef 88 Double Deck was launched in 2017. She has an aggressive, sporty look and features a mezzanine level inside the saloon and a spacious master stateroom with a panoramic view in the bow part of the main deck.

This 88-foot superyacht has over 300m² of living space. She follows in the footsteps of previous Double Deck Sunreef Yachts such as the 102ft Ipharra which was launched in 2010 (see above).

2017 New Sailing Range Announced: the 50, 60 and 70

2018 Sunreef 60 “Feel The Blue” Launched

Feel The Blue has gone into charter. She has 5 en suite cabins that can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, a huge saloon and spacious cockpit, a front “terrace” and an impressive flybridge with a Jacuzzi (!), sun bathing loungers and a wet bar with barbecue.

2018 Sunreef 80 Gaya Splashes for Sea Trials

sunreef 80 gaya

The 80 is the big yacht in the current “off the shelf” range (of course Sunreef are still building larger custom boats).

2019 a 70 footer is added to the range. Sunreef now offer a 50, 60, 70 and 80.

2019 The First Fully Electric Sunreef, a 60 called “E” is Launched

Sunreef Yachts are now offered with a hybrid or fully electric power unit. Sunreef 60 “E” has a 2 x 80kW battery bank, and the yacht’s twin 75 kW engines allow for up to 6 hours of motoring if the wind dies. The batteries will also operate all the appliances up to 24 hours and power all-night air-conditioning.

2019 Sunreef 50 Hull # 1: Paz Launches

The 50 is the “baby” of the range. Paz has a 3-cabin layout that will accommodate 6 guests and 2 crew members on board. Now based in Spain I believe.

2020 The first of the new Sunreef 70s, Ocean Vibes, Splashes.

The first launch of the new Sunreef 70 is Ocean Vibes. She has a 5 cabin layout, a huge flybridge and a bow terrace connected directly to the main saloon.
