Innovation, a New Flagship and a Strong Show Presence
The year 2026 is shaping up to be another big one for Lagoon Catamarans.

Held from March 11–14, 2026 in Bordeaux, the Lagoon Exclusive Days once again offered a detailed look inside the shipyard and the brand’s latest innovations. These days were originally designed as a one-off, but they have evolved into a popular annual event.

Unlike traditional boat shows, this invitation-only event is designed to provide a more personal experience – complete with sea trials, shipyard tours, and interaction with designers and engineers.
And it’s a great chance for the Lagoon community to meet up with customers, owners and dealers.
The day is all about making connections: owners, prospective buyers, industry insiders, dealers and the Lagoon team head to Bordeaux to explore the full range on the river while learning about construction techniques and customisation options.
Key Highlights from the 2026 Day
• World premiere of the new flagship power catamaran: the EIGHTY 3.
• Unveiling of the new Lagoon 47 which will splash in Cannes in September.
• Access to the full sailing and power range
• Behind-the-scenes shipyard tours
The New Flagship: Lagoon EIGHTY 3

The star of the event was the launch of the Lagoon EIGHTY 3, the brand’s flagship power catamaran.
This 24 – metre yacht is a significant evolution for Lagoon, blending superyacht – level luxury with long-range cruising capability. The flagship has been designed in collaboration with VPLP who have designed the EIGHTY 3 for space, personalisation and seamless indoor – outdoor living.
Key Characteristics
• Length: – 24.4 metres
• Accommodation: 4 to 6 cabins (up to 16 guests)
• Exterior living space: – 300 m²
• Range: up to 3,500 nautical miles
The design prioritises life on deck, with expansive lounging areas, a large flybridge, and a connection to the sea – all hallmarks of Lagoon’s new design philosophy.
Lagoon 47: The Next Generation (Replaces the 46)
A major announcement during the Exclusive Days was the Lagoon 47, which will replace the popular Lagoon 46.
The Lagoon 47 is an evolution of their mid-size cruising yacht targeting private owners and charter fleets. With improved layouts, an updated design, a new forward cockpit door, and improved onboard liveability.

La Grande Motte 2026: Lagoon’s Next Stop
Before Cannes, Lagoon will return to the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte from April 22–26, 2026 – an event focused on multihulls.
Lagoon Models on Display
There will be a broad selection of the range in display including:
• Lagoon 38
• Lagoon 43
• Lagoon 51
• Lagoon 60
• Lagoon 620 NEO
This lineup reflects Lagoon’s strategy of covering the market from entry-level cruising catamarans to luxury power yachts – while showcasing its refit and lifecycle services.
Cannes 2026: a Busy Show for Lagoon
The Cannes show in September 2026 will serve as the official “splash” event for the Lagoon 47. This event is traditionally where Lagoon introduces its latest designs, with strong visibility among private buyers and charter operators.
Given the success of its predecessor, we are expecting the 47 to become a cornerstone of Lagoon’s range.
An Expanding Brand
With over 7,000 catamarans built over its lifetime, Lagoon continues to dominate the global cruising catamaran market.
What stands out in 2026 are the new product launches, and their broader strategic direction:
• Continued expansion into larger, more luxurious catamarans
• Innovation in the 40–50 ft sailing segment
• A strong emphasis on customization and owner experience
• Developing the Lagoon community through events and at the shows.
With the new EIGHTY 3 flagship, the Lagoon 47 launch, and a busy international show schedule, Lagoon is consolidating its leadership position and pushing into new territory.
Conclusion
From Bordeaux to Cannes and La Grande Motte, Lagoon’s 2026 roadmap shows their momentum across every segment of the market.
