Lagoon launched the 43 at the International Multihull Show in 2024. This was quite a surprise at the time, as recent launches had fitted into their range of larger yachts built in Bordeaux.
Also, they had just announced the ongoing success of the 42 which had become the biggest-selling catamaran model of all time.
The new Lagoon 43 builds on this success and includes some interesting innovations designed to make the living space on these catamarans even bigger than before.
The new hulls allow for a generous interior volume with larger berths, and greater dimensions in every cabin. this should be the most comfortable Lagoon yet in this size bracket.
In the owner’s version, there is a large forward berth with an ensuite bathroom and head, a layout often associated with larger yachts.
Side Access
Lagoon has designed a side access to the catamaran, making it easy to board the boat when you are at the dock.
Adaptable, Modular Space, all on one Level
This boat is all about flexibility of space. You can transform the living space in the saloon and aft cockpit, connecting the interior and the exterior, with a dining table that will fit up to twelve people.
Flybridge
The Lagoon 43 has the first semi-fly of the range, a new social space on the catamaran. This area is integrated into the coachroof, with comfortable U-shaped seating and a forward sun lounge area that is easily accessed from the helm. The Flybridge up top beside the port raised helm provides another area to enjoy at anchor or on calmer days.
Up front, the bow has another lounging area, completing Lagoon’s aim of providing multiple spaces for unwinding.
Relax Aft
The Aft bench can be orientated facing aft and leads onto a platform that swings down for another sunbathing spot above the water. The dual-facing backrests allow you to choose from ocean views while lounging or forwards if you are feeling more social.
The Lagoon 43 is available with 3 Cabins and 3 Heads (Owner) or 4 Cabins and 4 Heads.
Mast Forward
On the Lagoon 43, the mast has been set forward like the 51 and 60. This maximizes saloon space. The new furling boom system will also be available on the Lagoon 43.”
