Ocean Renegade R6

The Ocean Renegade R6 has been developed with inspiration from the R5. Clients and visitors were asking the South African performance catamaran builder, based in Cape Town, for a bigger platform in the R-series and while the R6 builds her success on the R5, she was designed from scratch.

This 60 footer shares the R5’s ease of sailing and is a fast yacht with greater volume in the hulls with room for full-sized berths forward and aft.

The R6 has three cabins with king-size bunks and en-suite bathrooms with separate showers. In the starboard owners hull there is an extra cabin that can be set up as an office with a convertible queen berth for guests or as storage/work space with a convertible berth.

The living space is generous with a large galley that can accommodate four on bar stools against a countertop overhang: another quick dining or entertainment area. The salon sofa comes with either a dining table or a coffee table.

The davits are integrated into a multifunctional aft beam seat & platform that has four modes (1 at sea and 3 at anchor). This way, the aft cockpit comfortably seats 12 people at anchor.

Forward, the R6 has a new forward cockpit design with twin seating areas and easy access to the deck.
